People ask me why I am always cheerful and I tell them this: Life is simple, if and only if you make it simple for yourself. Making life simple for myself did not come smooth and has never been smooth. But I have known from experience that when trials come, I must face them head-on. I must not turn my back to them because such trials can attack me from behind and win.
I discovered that when I do face such bitterness that overwhelms me, I always come out more stronger. The first question I always ask God in all these situations is: What do You want me to learn from this bitter experience oh Lord? And I have always been answered by God because He promised not to leave me neither will He forsake me. With this assurance, I go forward to face my trials believing that I will come out of the experience triumphantly.
You can achieve this too if only you can make life simple for yourself by asking for God's grace to face your trials headon.
